Zephyr - Cupid av Viddashusky

Zephyr is an import from the kennels of Leif Herleiksplass (Viddashusky), originally from Norway but stationed in Ivalo, Finland for touring. She made the long trip back West with Rob after dropping off Aspen (from our 2019 Mojo x Savannah litter) and upon deciding on an adult name, the Mary Chapin Carpenter song "Zephyr" meaning "a gentle Westward wind" seemed appropriate as well as being a tribute to our late veteran Chapin.

Sporting a beautiful, healthy mix of racing bloodlines stewarded in Norway, Zephyr arrived with more miles on her as a yearling than the rest of the team that season. She has a steady, easygoing temperament now that she has warmed up to the American life, and she lets her youthful side show in playtime. She has started training a a leader prospect, and is a reliable worker on touring runs. In addition to being a great sleddog, Zephyr also brought the newest outcross to our October Siberians family line on June 22, 2026, with the birth of 6 puppies fathered by Keb-Mo. She's proven to be a great mother and now playmate to her pups as they are growing, and they have inherited her nature.
