"Huck" - October's Huckleberry

After spending the first few years of his life with sister Petra (both from our Sonny x Maeva litter) and some other relatives at a VT recreational mushing home, Huck returned to October Siberians in 2023 to put his work in on our touring teams. Huck is a "gentle giant", with a sweet and silly, unbothered temperament in contrast to his strong and opinionated sisters. Huck's voice comes straight from his dad Sonny; a high pitched, intense howl that signals any time he is excited about something, or has waited too long to get going again on the team.

Huck loves to run and will work happily anywhere on the team, though he has only been tried in lead a couple of times - he prefers to follow. When he is not working hard back in wheel with one of the other kennel Big Boys he is often found beside his buddies Tenny, and team guest member Kismet, who belongs to our handler Dimitrios.
