Frosty - Sibersong's Frosty the Snowdog

Frosty arrived to us in 2024 from Jaye Foucher's Sibersong Sleddogs. He is one of our Big Boys, being probably the biggest Siberian we have had here in all our years of mushing. When looking at photos of Jaye's dogs, Frosty reminded us in looks of Hiatt, our best ever leader and grandfather/great-grandfather to much of our kennel.

Frosty is enthusiastic, powerful, and packs a huge punch in harness. He is often one of the very first dogs to be screaming to go when he knows rest is almost over, and he has to get his daily sprints in, doing several laps around the kennel setup when turned loose for free play. Big and strong as he is, Frosty makes an ideal wheel dog - the dogs closest to the sled which help pull it over tough terrain and around corners - and thus can often be found there, though his drive has been tried up in lead a couple of times when the team needs a boost!
