Our trips are designed to be educational and interactive for the client, and also serve as a training opportunity for our team. In this way we invite you to be a part of our team at whatever level best suits your comfort level. You may participate by helping to prepare (harness) the dogs, by driving the team, by treating and watering the dogs, or just by sitting back and enjoying the ride. The tandem sled design offers you a chance to drive while the musher maintains full control of the sled and team. This will leave you with a true sense that you have run the dog sled team yourself. |

| The minimum skill required to drive a dog sled involves maintaining balance while standing on two runners, holding onto the driver bow, and shifting your weight to assist the sled in turning. A single sled can typically accommodate a family of 2 adults and one or two children under 12 years (about a 400 lb. limit).
